When I do something, I like to know what is going to happen so I thought I would tell you how to prepare for your initial session.
The initial session is normally 1 hour and 30 minutes and normal session is about an hour.
I will ask you a series of questions, history, diet, behaviour and what you would like to see at the end of the sessions.
Also, I will access your dog’s behaviour and then work out a tailored training plan for you and your dog.
Every session you will receive an email with the points that we have discussed and the training plan.
If you have any questions, before, during and after the session please ask. It can be really daunting having a dog trainer come in but I really don’t bite.
If your dog is over excited when I arrive. Please don’t be offended if I ignore him and wait for him to calm down before I greet him.
Please let me know if your dog can’t have any treats. I usually carry some gravy bones which usually go down well. More on this, when we go through the pet gundog audit.
Please be honest in regards to your dog’s behaviour and history. I must have all the information to advice you further.
I have had to change sessions slightly because of Covid -19. When it is possible, please keep social distancing rules least 2 metres apart.
If we could have the session in the garden, if it is raining or you do not have a garden then a well aired room with doors and window open would be fine. I may suggest we go to the park so I can see what he is like at the park.
Please do not call unless you have a booked a call with me. My preferred contact is email firstname.lastname@example.org
Dog training doesn’t have to be complicated or boring.
It can be fun and simple!
I can’t wait to meet you all
