IMPORTANT INFORMATION – Please read
1. Booking
1.1 All bookings are paid off in advance using a payment link
1.2 Places for programmes are allocated on a first come, first served, basis.
1.3 You will receive an email confirmation upon booking and reminders of the time/day of your session. Please make sure all the information is correct.
1.4 I will add a travel charge for visits over 10 miles away from my Headquarters.
1.5 All packages sessions must be used within 3 months of your initial booking.
1.6 By purchasing a product from Pawtastic Gundog Adventures, you agree to receive email communications and post from me. This helps me keep you updated of all cool stuff that happens with Pawtastic. You can unsubscribe at any time.
1.7 If the in-person course cannot run, or cannot continue due to renewed Covid Lockdown measures, the course will be moved online on same dates.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 In unlikely event, that I have to cancel your training session or programme. I will offer an alternative date. If this is not suitable, then you will receive a full refund. Cancellation may occur if the course is significantly undersubscribed.
2.2 Cancellation after course date – no refund. There will be no partial refunds for 1-2-1 training sessions or missed classes with less than 72 hours notice.
2.3 If we find the class environment does not suit your dog we will discuss this with you and suggest an alternative training option.
2.4 If you have to cancel your booking with me, please give me at least 72 hours. Click on the reschedule button at the bottom of the remainder and confirmation emails.
2.5 If you do not give me 48 hours notice, then I will need to issue you with a £45 cancellation fee. If you do not pay it, you will automatically lose a session.
3. Legal & Safety
3.1 Dogs and puppies who attend my training sessions must be fully up to date with vaccinations and you may require proof.
3.2 If you think your dog may have kennel cough, please inform me.
3.3 Owners hold full responsibility for their dogs at all times.
3.4 Owners may only bring one dog into class at any time.
3.5 Dogs must be kept on lead at all times unless instructed by your trainer
3.6 Choke chains, pinch collars and extendable leads can be dangerous. I refuse to use harsh handling training methods. Shouting at, manhandling, or hitting your dog damages your relationship and will not be allowed in training.
3.7 I refuse to force any dog into a situations that they are not comfortable with.
3.8 You are responsible for your child and supervise him/her at all times. Carefully supervise your dog around other’s people’s children. Please don’t let your child approach another dog without checking with the owner that it is safe to do so.
3.9 Please observe Social Distancing Guidelines at all times.
3.10 If you show any signs of Covid-19 symptoms, please follow Government guidelines to self-isolate and discontinue the in-person sessions. I will make every effort to arrange another date/time for you and let you finish your course online.
4. Liability
4.1 I may wish to use client testimonials, photographs or film your dog for my records or for marketing and promotional purposes on social media and on my website. Please let me know either verbally or in writing if you do not wish to consent to any of this.
4.2 Dogs should not attend training sessions and classes if they are in season or unwell. I suggest that owners still attend without their dogs as this helps in continuation of the training.
4.3 If your dog has ever attacked another dog and caused injury requiring veterinary treatment, please let me know before the programme starts.
4.4 We make every effort to ensure the safety of you and your dog during classes, but sometimes accidents do happen. All instances of accident or injury must be reported at the time they occur.
4.5 By making a booking, you are accepting that participating in an activity with dogs, puppies, children and adults pose a risk to yourself and your puppy or dog and you agree to indemnity Pawtastic Gundog Adventures for all personal injury and damage to property owned by you while attending my training classes. You also agree to make any person who accompanies you to classes aware that they are also there at their own risk.
5. Privacy policy
Pawtastic will treat your personal information confidentially and will not pass on your details to any third parties. I comply with GDPR. I keep all my client documents in a secure locked box. I have secure passwords on my laptop, tablet and phone. You can find my privacy policy on my website. If you would like a copy, I can print one off or email it to you.
