THIS IS WHAT THE PAWTASTIC PARENTS HAD TO SAY ABOUT MY TAMING CLASSES
‘I was struggling with pulling on the lead and recall. I found Harriet very easy to work with, friendly and approachable. I have gained confidence; teaching Monty touch has been useful, and we are making progress on lead pulling. I feel much better now and have the tools to teach Monty to improve. Yes, I would definitely recommend you. Although it was quite stressful initially with Monty barking a lot it did get easier each week and it was nice that other participants noticed the improvement in him’ – Fran and Monty
‘I was struggling walking River without him pulling . Jumping up when excited. I found Harriet very approachable, and she explained things clearly. Knowing what I was experiencing was normal behaviour for my teenage puppy . Spending quality 1 to 1 time with River. Made to feel welcome. I feel more confident. To be consistent. Feeling in control. Yes definitely I would recommend Harriet (I already have ). The training answered all my concerns. Simply , Thank you for providing such a fun filled 4 weeks of knowledge and reasurance that with constant reinforcement and patients we would have the perfect dog’ – Lisa and River
‘I found pawtastic gundog adventures via a Facebook post and I think it was the ‘Tame your teenage dog’ that was exactly what I needed as I have a teenage dog that has been going through a little rebellion recently. The price seemed affordable and it seemed to cover most of the issues that I was dealing with, so I enrolled myself and dog. Course participants are kept at small numbers so you get the most attention and help from Harriet. Myself and my dog came on leaps and bounds by the end of the 4 weeks, I found Harriet so understanding and she really helped explain things as simply as possible for me as I am on the autistic spectrum so can sometimes get easily confused or overwhelmed by too much information. Harriet was amazing and I’d recommend her whether you are also Neurodiverse or Neurotypical. My dog’s behaviour has improved immensely and I realise the importance of repetition and practice to get better results, I’m feeling much more confident in myself to train my dog to behave the way I want him to behave and I know Harriet is only an email away if I need any advice. If you have a cheeky dog going through teenage tantrums then don’t delay, enrol today as it’s such a helpful course’. – Mel and Sunny
‘Harriet was lovely and would definitely recommend her to anyone. Gave us homework every week with easy to follow tasks which has definitely improved my dog’s obedience on and off lead. I appreciate the feedback she gave each class. The class sizes were small, meaning I felt I got personal pointers, and my dog was much calmer’ – Jamie & Zelda
‘I struggled with Lead pulling, recall and keeping Mouse’s attention when he gets excited. You are easy to speak with and have a great knowledge and understanding of different types of a dog’s behaviours (one shoe doesn’t fit all). You have shown me the various ways of working with my dog and how to support his needs. Control of the lead and the pulling has improved so walkies is fun. Learning simple commands and using them consistently does work. Your tips on how best to react and interact with the other dogs at the park. The leg game and 3 second rule is a gamechanger. There’s always a friendly welcome at the classes Mouse is responding to me more and more every day and that makes me feel confident especially whilst walking in the park. I would definitely recommend you. “Tame your Teenage Troublemaker Programme” have helped me and my family so much more than I imagined. The guidance and support you provide equals great results. Mouse is a happy content teenager without the tantrums, just a bit of a clown from time to time. 🙂 I look forward to outdoor classes in the future. Please keep us informed. Thank You Harriet X’ – Lindsey and Mouse
‘We were struggling with recall and although we are a long way from sorted, there is a distinct improvement, now that we have a method and we are all singing from the same song sheet. We found you very informative and easy to speak to. We liked being able to ask you questions. We feel more confident that we have the tools to further Monty’s training. Yes I would recommend you. Harriet, I think that you are a fantastic dog trainer and really know your stuff. It must be very hard to start a course with half a dozen new people and dogs, but have the confidence in yourself to demonstrate with people’s dogs. We thoroughly enjoyed the 5 weeks and were gutted we couldn’t make the last one. We will be booking a 121 for long lead recall work in the near future. Thank you and best of luck’ – Debbie & Monty
‘Logan wouldn’t listen or focus on me or anyone. He pulled on the lead and wouldn’t do anything without food incentive. Small classes felt personal and able to discuss issues. Logan is more focused, felt listened to and not judged aswell as myself growing in confidence and knowledge on how to rectify issues from what I learnt. I feel more confident’ – Vicki & Logan
